Possible Publishing!!!!!

Well this person me and my mom are talking too took my GunnerX story to read it, and a couple of days ago she said she knows someone who'll publish it, but it will be in novel/book form, not manga like I wanted. Can anyone help me out on the decision, should I publish it, or should I wait for it to become a manga?
